Description:

Black shell bead belt with six white double outlined diamonds. Belt edge lined with red cloth. Purchased at Sotheby's auction in NY 1997. ex Private Collection.

Returned to the Oneida Nation August 1997: Rome Sentinel Newspaper.

The six diamonds represent the six nations of the confederacy.
